The location marker should no longer jump
Outside track-recording mode, the app could alternate between an accurate GPS fix and a coarse network location. This sometimes moved the marker back to an incorrect point, even after restarting the app.
THS2 now selects one best available location provider, rejects overly inaccurate or stale fixes, and does not replace a good point with a substantially worse one. If the signal is temporarily lost, the map keeps the user's last reliable location.
Updates from the right source
When THS2 was installed from RuStore, the update action now opens the app page in RuStore and never offers an APK sideload. Website installations continue to download a verified, signed APK from ths2.app.
This preserves app data and package-signing continuity while keeping the update flow consistent with the chosen installation source.
Where to download
Version 0.3.0-alpha3 is already available from the website: https://ths2.app/en/download/
The RuStore update is being submitted for store review and will appear after moderation: https://www.rustore.ru/catalog/app/app.ths2.android
Help test the fix
If you use THS2 in the field, please watch the current-location marker while walking, after a temporary signal loss, and after reopening the app. You can report a problem under More → Feedback.
